Building Your Dream Swimming Pool
Once you’ve decided to build your dream swimming pool, the following is the construction process that Tropical Prestige Pools will follow:

Stage One: Paperwork, Design and PlanningThe fun and excitement begins, designing your new Swimming Pool! This is the first, most important stage to ensure we know exactly what you would like. After signing the contract our engineer will draw up a detailed plan, we then organise Home Warranty Insurance and submit to the council for approval.

Stage Two: Excavation
Once council approval is confirmed, the machinery arrives to commence excavation of your new swimming pool and remove the soil.

Stage Three: Form work, Shell reinforcing & plumbing
After the excavation, form work is installed to hold the steel and concrete in place. We lay long steel bars to create a criss-cross steel cage around the whole interior of the pool, for the concrete to be sprayed into. This ensures the pool does not crack once the concrete is sprayed. We will pre-plumb the interior of the pool and run all the lines for the returns, suction, spa, heating, blower and feature back to the pump and filter slab.

Stage Four: Concrete Shell
Ready mixed concrete trucks and concrete pumps arrive to spray your pool, which is then shaped to your desired shape.

Optional Extras: Tiled Coping, Waterline Tiles, Paving, Water Features, Mosaic Pool Pictures
If you have chosen to have the above options with your new swimming pool, these will be provisioned now, prior to your desired pebble/tiled finish.

Stage Five: External Plumbing
We will connect your pump, self-cleaning chlorinator and filter to the plumbing we laid in stage three, which will sit on a 1000mm x 1200mm concrete slab.

Stage Six: Fence Inspection
Once all the above has been completed, the fence will be inspected by our certifier.

Stage Seven: Pool Interior
The pool interior is then finished with your choice of pebbles or tiles to create your dream pool. We can create a customised coloured pebble with glass chip to suit your desired effect. The pebblers will return the next day to acid wash the pebble and begin filling the pool.

Stage Eight: Hand Over
We come out and explain how to use, look after and maintain your pool equipment. We also provide you with a hand over kit that includes a pool vacuum, safety resuscitation sign, thermometer, broom head, telescopic pole and scoop/net.
